What's New I update this site occasionally, adding new lesson plans, plays, or monologues, and sometimes just making pages prettier or more user friendly. If you visit the site regularly, this is the place to go to find out what I've added since you last visited. Every time I make a change, I'll list it on this page, with the date on which I made it. (This will save you time if you only looked in to see what was new.)

1/25/2006--I added Jon Dorf's fantastic new book, Young Playwrights 101, to the USEFUL BOOKS page, with a link to his publisher. I've also changed the way folks can contact me with comments or questions. The CONTACT ME link found on almost every page is no longer a direct email link. Instead, it takes you to an interim page that explains why I can't respond to every email and gives some pointers for improving the likelihood of a response. I've felt bad for a long time about the fact that I can't get to all of the email generated by the site, and I wanted to explain.

8/12/2005--Major overhaul of the "Great Plays" page. I've added several new scripts, and revamped the procedure for reading perusal copies and requesting rights. Most of my plays are now available either through publishers or through YouthPlays.com, but there's a link to the appropriate agency included with the description of each play, so it should generally be just a click or two for any script.

1/02/2005--Wow--it's been a while since I updated! But as you'll see, I've been busy. Added many links to my newest project, YouthPlays.com, a new site started by myself and two colleagues to make available quality scripts for school and other youth theatre productions. Also revamped the "My Plays" page to point to the better descriptions and ordering procedures at YouthPlays. Also edited my "About Me" page to reflect the fact that I've moved, and fixed all my resumes to show the new address.

5/29/2004--Added two new productions to my Production Photos page. Also cleaned up the Links page, eliminating or repairing broken links. (Sadly, I did not add any new links--I've been lax lately in keeping this aspect of the site up-to-date, but I anticipate a change in situation shortly, which should leave me more time.) Also made some minor changes in the essay, "Why Teach Drama?"

10/25/2003--Added downloadable non-musical version of my musical, Prince Ugly. Go to download page (password needed). Added photo page from The Man Who Came to Dinner. Click Here to see it.

2/11/2003--Added photo page from the World Premiere production of my musical, Prince Ugly. Click Here to see it.

1/1/2003--Added password-protected page from which interested producers, etc. may download reading copies of my plays, as well as scores for the songs and a few Mp3s. If you would like to read my work, Email me for a password.

12/1/2002--GRAND OPENING of childdrama.com at my new domain. I've left the old site up for now, but I'll put a link on the main page sending folks here. New updates will only appear here. (Apart from the bandwidth problems, etc., I'm out of space on the free server.)
